Carnegie Council Joins the PBS/NPR Forum Network as Online Partner

Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is proud to announce that it is partnering with the Forum Network, a PBS and NPR public media service in collaboration with public stations and community partners across the United States. Carnegie Council focuses on three broad themes: Ethics, War, and Peace; Global Social Justice (including the ethical dilemmas caused by climate change); and Religion in Politics. Its in-house Carnegie Ethics Studio films over 70 events a year, and is now posting a selection of the most outstanding of these videos on the Forum Network. Recent postings include:

• Scholar Michael Mandelbaum discusses his book, The Frugal Superpower: America's Global Leadership in a Cash-Strapped Era.
• The panel "U.S. Military: Leading by Example," in which representatives from the Navy, the Marines, and the Army Corps of Engineers illustrate how the U.S. military is developing renewable, clean energy sources, both to power U.S. forces and to combat climate change.
• Journalist Eliza Griswold discusses her book: The Tenth Parallel: Dispatches from the Fault Line between Christianity and Islam.
