Carnegie Council Appoints Six New Fellows to its Global Ethics Network of Scholars Around the World

Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is pleased to announce the appointment of six new Global Ethics Fellows. They will join the Council's Global Ethics Network, which currently consists of 32 scholars based in the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Ghana, India, Israel, Japan, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the United States.

The Council's Global Ethics Network provides a platform for educational institutions around the world to create and share interactive multimedia resources that explore the ethical dimensions of international affairs.

As Senior Fellow and Senior Program Director Devin Stewart remarked:

"The Network gives students and scholars in every region of the world an exciting opportunity to explore ideas together. We are delighted to welcome these new Global Ethics Fellows and look forward to working with them and their students. Toward our Centennial goal of advancing greater understanding of a global ethic, we're producing an edited volume on this topic and will hold workshops in Asia, Europe, and the United States." Hussein Banai (USA) Assistant professor in diplomacy and world affairs at Occidental College and a research affiliate at the Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Yitzhak Benbaji (Israel) Associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Rajan Menon (USA) Anne and Bernard Spitzer Chair in Political Science at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York/City University of New York and a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.

Bartlomiej E. Nowak (Poland) Assistant professor at the Vistula University in Warsaw.

Rahul Sagar (USA) Assistant professor in the Department of Politics at Princeton University.

Ananya Vajpeyi (India) Associate fellow at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi.
