Carnegie Council Appoints New Global Ethics Fellows and Senior Fellow

Feb 21, 2013

Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is pleased to announce the addition of three new Global Ethics Fellows and a new Senior Fellow.

Global Ethics Fellows lie at the heart of Carnegie Council's expanding Global Ethics Network.

These Fellows are intellectual leaders capable of contributing to a worldwide discussion of the ethical dimensions of international affairs. Chosen for their expertise in ethics and interest in the Network, Fellows spearhead their universities' involvement in the Network, organize events at their home institutions, and collaborate with other Fellows, students, and Council staff to develop joint research, publications, and multimedia projects.

The three new Fellows are as follows:

  • Sandra Africa, director of the Institute for Strategic and Political Affairs at the University of Pretoria in Pretoria, South Africa
  • Kwadwo Appiagyei-Atua, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law at University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana
  • Jiyoung Song, assistant professor of Political Science at the School of Social Sciences of the Singapore Management University, Singapore.
